How do I book a session?
To book a session, contact me through my website’s contact form or email me directly. Once we finalize the date, I’ll send you a booking proposal with your session details and contract. A deposit is required to secure your date.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, a 25% deposit is required to secure your session. Deposits are non-refundable but are transferable to a new date within 6 months if rescheduling is necessary.For weddings, a $500 deposit is required.
When is the remaining balance due?
For portrait sessions, the balance is due on or before the day of your session. For weddings or events, the balance is due 2 weeks before the event date.
What happens if I need to reschedule my session?
Life happens, and I understand! If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours in advance. Your deposit will transfer to a new date within 6 months of the original booking. For weddings or events, rescheduling is subject to availability.
What happens if I cancel my session?
If you choose to cancel without rescheduling, the deposit is forfeited.
What if the weather is bad for my outdoor session?
For outdoor sessions, we’ll work together to reschedule at no additional cost if the weather doesn’t cooperate.
When will I receive my photos?
For standard sessions, you can expect to receive your photos within 2-3 weeks of your session. For weddings or large events, the turnaround time is typically 4-6 weeks to allow for the detailed editing that goes into preserving your special day. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, and you’ll be the first to know when your gallery is ready to view!
How will I receive my photos?
All your photos will be delivered via an online gallery. From there, you can easily download high-resolution, professionally edited images directly to your computer or device. The gallery is designed to be simple and user-friendly, so you can share your favorite moments with family and friends or print them at your convenience.
How long will my gallery be available?
Your online gallery will remain available for 6 months, giving you plenty of time to download and save your images. I always recommend saving your photos to multiple locations, like a personal hard drive or cloud storage, to ensure they’re preserved for years to come.
What should I wear?
The most important thing is to wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable! Solid colors and neutral tones tend to photograph beautifully, as they keep the focus on you rather than distracting patterns or logos. For family sessions, coordinating outfits in complementary colors (rather than matching exactly) can create a cohesive and timeless look. Layers and textures, like a cozy sweater or a flowy dress, can add depth to your photos as well.
For senior portraits or engagement sessions, this is a great opportunity to showcase your personality! Feel free to bring multiple outfits—one casual and one more formal—so we can create a variety of looks that reflect who you are.
